How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches Devicecloser Heating & Air to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page shows how to file a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template, not legal advice.
What You Can Tell Us About
You are welcome to contact us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Devicecloser Heating & Air
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If the Problem Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own estimates, pricing, equipment, warranties, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.
We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps us keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Devicecloser Heating & Air cannot settle contract disputes, handle warranty claims, refund payment for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
How to Send a Complaint
Email contact@devicecloser.property and include:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for
After You Write
We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
If You Are Still Unhappy
If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about an HVAC contractor, your state's contractor or mechanical licensing board may be able to help too.
